Business Development Manager - Education Catering

Working within the Contract Catering division of an FM Company, you will play a key role in delivering future growth through securing new and profitable contracts.

You will deliver proactive sales, relationship building with existing customers, competitive tendering and maximising reactive opportunities.

This role is for a BDM or even for a passionate senior operator, that knows the education contract catering business, and has been growing pre-existing or new contracts.

Maintain and develop a wide network of contacts

Generate opportunities for new business.

Prepare and deliver all aspects of the strategic sales process including campaigns, presentations, exhibitions and general market collateral.

Work closely with the contracts team to identify new opportunities with existing customers.

Achieve and exceed individual sales targets

Convert leads

Maintain a strong knowledge of market trends including client and competitor activity and industry innovations.

You will already have sales experience, preferably within the education Sector, although not essential and will have a proven track record of generating revenue through new sales prospects along with relationship account management.

Have excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Have strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Be a skilled negotiator
