Part Time (18 hours per week)
Mind in Brighton and Hove empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex. The Primary Care Quality Improvement Project (Working name Practise Hope) will provide support, training and resources to 30 GP surgeries across Kent, Surrey and Sussex to strengthen their capacity to provide appropriate, timely care and support to children and young people experiencing thoughts of suicide and/or self-harm.
We are seeking to appoint a part-time coordinator to manage the delivery of all aspects of the Primary Care Quality Improvement project in Brighton and Hove, working with 10 GP practices alongside, service users, families and other key partners. They will liaise closely with the central Primary Care Quality Improvement project team at Health Education England, Olly’s Future and National Mind, and will also collaborate with the other Practise Hope Co-ordinators in the other counties. They will regularly engage with all GP practices and other stakeholders to ensure needs assessments are carried out and action plans developed, and will organise required training and other resources in liaison with the GP practices and the central project team, and submit regular reports on progress and issues arising.
