Due to our client's continued success and expansion, a role has arisen for a Telecoms Support Desk Engineer based at their office in Hailsham, East Sussex. Working for a Telecoms and IT company, you will be working with an existing team of people who are committed to achieving excellence. You will need to be highly motivated, organised, able to prioritise in highly stressful situations and provide excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Telecoms industry, skills to include:-
* Analytical approach with a solid understanding of Telecoms
* Able to work under pressure to produce results
* Thrive on taking on responsibility and new challenges
* Confident in communicating with customers both verbally and electronically.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing the Support Desk Ticket System to ensure we meet and exceed SLAs.
* Support, troubleshoot and resolve issues for approximately 2000 customers.
* Escalate the fault at the appropriate point to arrange for a Field Engineer to visit site.
* To liaise with PABX manufacturer technical support helpdesk to provide solutions to rectify problematic faults.
