Financial Accountant - About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering the monthly reporting as well as preparing annual financial statement within a compliant framework. You will review, manage and steer the operational process, prepare and review quarterly Vat returns.

The successful Financial Accountant will be:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA). Ideally with experience within industry although candidates coming straight from practice will also be considered
• Experienced in dealing with dual or multi-currency operations
• Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering group reporting and statutory financial statements
• Have strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and challenge business partners while identifying issues through to successful resolution
• Be able to seek out and deliver continual improvement opportunities across systems, tasks and processes
• Experienced in using SAP would be desirable
• High degree of accuracy
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge using Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
