Multi-national financial services corporation currently seeks a SQL Server Production DBA to be responsible for troubleshooting issues and administering SQL Server databases which support business intelligence applications and enterprise software systems.

Working within the back-office, datacentre environment the SQL Server Production DBA will liaise with teams to identify and resolve issues, deploy new code and patches, undertake data transformations and migrations as well as undertaking database administration, user access/security administration, general database housekeeping and optimisation duties. Process reviews and maintaining documentation will form a key part of this role in order to provide insight and analysis to various departments and senior management.

We are searching for a candidate who has gained experience within a SQL Server Production DBA capacity in a large-scale enterprise environment. Ideally you will have been working within the insurance or reinsurance industry although experience gained in other financial services companies will be applicable (this must be back-office and not from within a consultancy with numerous clients; onsite for one client is acceptable). You will be capable of writing and amending stored procedures, scripting using T-SQL, ETL using DTS & SSIS. You will have worked with both SQL Server 2012/2014 environment and have some exposure to SSRS and/or SSAS. Experience working with business intelligence and applications enterprise systems would also be advantageous.

Location is easily commutable from Brighton, East Sussex or Croydon, Surrey. Also from South West London (45 minutes from Victoria or Clapham Junction). This opportunity come with excellent long term prospects and benefits package.
