Project Coordinator, 17,000 - 20,000, West Sussex

Our client, a market leader in their field, is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join an energetic and vibrant team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are hoping to progress into a Project Engineer/ Manager position. The Project Coordinator will be a highly motivated and extremely driven candidate with excellent attention to detail. Previous project management experience is not essential for the Project Coordinator, however a clear desire to move into a project focused environment is required. The Project Coordinator will have great IT literacy, and have great experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Project department with general project duties, including Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), maintaining project delivery trackers and other important tasks to aid project managers.
Key responsibilities
* Assist project leads and managers on project mobilisation activities and preparation, including organising and attending site meeting, project costs, stakeholder engagement and handover
* Support and maintain department trackers, inclusive of project updates
* Collate and produce handover information and documentation for completed projects as well as tracking and reporting of documentation
* Be responsible for tracking project status and reporting back to Project Managers.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
* Good communication at all levels
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* High degree of accuracy
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
* Responsible for acting professionally and maintaining professional relationships
