Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a Health and Safety Adviser for a leading maintenance company?
The main purpose of the job is to support the business with all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental matters within the Construction and Maintenance business units.
Due to continued growth, we are now actively seeking ambitious individuals with a strong HSQ&E background.
Duties Include:
* Assist in ensuring all Group operations are compliant with current legislation and regulatory
* Carry out Best RMS audits at our sites/contracts and hub offices to ensure compliance to company HSQ&E procedures
* Provide guidance through ensuring operations use the appropriate HSQ&E Procedures as set out in the Management System
* Carry out, record and communicate all inspections to relevant parties, ensuring that visits assigned are concluded in the week they are scheduled
* Liaise with site in advance of inspections
What you’ll need:
* Essential minimum TECH IOSH and solid experience in a health and safety advisory role within the maintenance and construction industries
* Experience in working with a Principal Contractor
* NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate; NEBOSH Fire Certificate
* NVQ Diploma Level 4 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice - desirable
* Internal auditor qualifications for ISO9001 and ISO14001 - desirable
