Nursing Associates - Crawley East Community of Practice

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Nursing Associate who wishes to work in the challenging but rewarding community setting. The post holder will care for patients in their own homes, and provide advice and support to patients to assist with self-management in their health journey including end of life care. The role also includes wound care and administration of medication.

This post is suitable for either a newly qualified or an experienced Nursing Associate or newly qualified, and experience of working in the community setting is desirable but not essential.

Professional development is available in this post including leg ulcer, wound care and End of Life Care courses, as Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust are committed to developing their workforce.

Good wound care knowledge and assessment skills are beneficial, including communication and IT skills. As the role includes travel around the community, a driving licence and access to a car for business purposes is essential.

A Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care is required to apply for this job to work as a Band 4.
