We are looking for a full time Immunisation Office Administrator, to be based at Crawley Hospital.

The post holder will provide administrative and secretarial support to the innovative and dynamic Immunisation Service dedicated to improving 0-19 immunisation uptake and delivering the schools-based immunisation programmes.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years experience in typing/word processing and be able to demonstrate high quality administrative skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. There will be an advanced Excel test at interview.

The post holder will act as a first point of contact within the service for internal and external enquiries, directing them to the appropriate recipients and recording information and messages accurately. Work will include handling complex reports, briefing papers and confidential correspondence, along with working on a team drive, activity inputting/retrieving data from databases and from handwritten forms, compiling data reports for internal and external agencies, and ensuring a system is used for easy retrieval of data by all members of the team. Other duties will include filing, faxing, stock monitoring, photocopying and minute taking for the team.

You will need to have excellent written and verbal skills to deal with a wide range of people, both clinical and non clinical. You will need to be able to work under pressure, be able to meet deadlines, and be prepared to provide administrative support at Immunisation service offices across the Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust area.

Experience of working within the NHS and Children's Services is essential.
