Your new role

• As Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will have the opportunity to choose the technical direction of cyber security defence and incident response initiatives.

• Essentially act as the ultimate point of escalation for complex incidents and threats, develop innovative approaches to respond to incidents by performing technical analysis tasks such as forensics analysis, vulnerability assessments, malware analysis and working with red teams to perform penetration tests.

• You'll also be a coach and mentor to junior analysts, sharing threat intelligence gathered through research and analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within a security operations centre, working across multiple security domains, focusing on intrusion detection, forensic analysis or network and malware analysis.

• Experience in threat detection, network monitoring is highly desirable, along with identifying threats, vulnerabilities, risks and implementing defence principles within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of existing and emerging technologies, malware behaviour and techniques employed by attackers to evade existing security control and experience leading investigations and managing incident analysts.

• Certifications such as; such as GIAC, MCP, CREST, OSCP, OSCE, CCIM, HIA or NIA
