Peer Mentoring Co-ordinator for Crawley and Horsham
Part-Time (21 hours per week)
Mind in Brighton and Hove (MiBH) empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex. MiBH is part of Pathfinder in West Sussex which is an alliance of organisations working together to enable people with mental health support needs and their carers to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
The Peer Mentoring Service in Crawley and Horsham matches and supports volunteer peer mentors with adults with mental health problems who need support to carry out day-to-day activities.
The Peer Mentoring Co-ordinator is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting peer mentors and for facilitating matches with prospective mentees. The post-holder is also responsible for raising the profile of the service locally and for ensuring that the service complements other local peer mentoring and Pathfinder services.
The post is for 21 hours per week and flexible working arrangements are possible.
