Activity Co-ordinator

Role Responsibility of an Activity Co-ordinator

As an Activity Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for talking with residents and their families to find out what people want to do and to assist the care team in meeting people's social and emotional needs as well as their physical ones. You will be able to plan and organise activity programmes for our residents in accordance with their assessed needs and wishes. You will tasked with arranging a variety of activities such as: light exercise, arts & crafts, puzzles, knitting, sing a longs, days out, seasonal events and lots more.



What an Excellent Activity Co-ordinator Looks Like

You must have:

  • A passion for care
  • Excellent communications skills and patience
  • Experience arranging activities and events
  • Ability to motivate and engage people
  • Basic IT skills
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Right to work in the UK
