Ignata Finance are delighted to be partnering a global business based in Burgess Hill for the recruitment of a Financial Accountant.

Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:

- Speak another language (high desirable)

- Experience of statutory accounts, VAT and TAX (essential)

- A qualified Accountant ACCA or ACA (essential)

- Experience of liaising with external stakeholders such as banks/auditors (high desirable)

The ideal candidate would either be a newly qualified ACA accountant straight from practice (top 10) or a candidate with the above experience who is currently working within industry

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the preparation of the statutory accountant. This includes preparation on the audit, VAT returns, corporation Tax ad hoc reporting.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as Audit firms, Tax departments and various banks.
Ensure all financial reports are prepared in line with statutory requirements.
Ensure corporate policies are adhered to.
Responsible for company journal entry.
Preparation of the month end pack under IFRS.
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget process
