Job Title: Quality Engineer

Are you a Quality Engineer with experience of working in a quality department or test lab environment? Do you have experience in new product introduction (NPI/NPD)? This is a hands-on position where you can excel in an environment that embraces teamwork, change, risk-based decision-making and flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure Quality is represented at all stages of projects, NPI or production
• Provide technical guidance and support to the design team and customer care/sales to ensure that deliverables and targets are met
• Creating and updating engineering drawings
• Identify areas of continuous improvements to promote and enhance Quality capability
• Support delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies and contributing to capability development
• Support customer technical issues and resolution
• Attend design/technical/task reviews, defect reviews and stakeholder meetings as required.
• Support the Quality Management System and related standards
• Provide validation support by applying manufacturing quality tools including, but not limited to:
• DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, process verification/validation plans and process data
• Lead and or participate in complaint investigations, failure analysis of returned products and problems resulting in technical issues requiring you to generate a report/analysis on the findings
• Internal and external auditing in line with ISO9001/AS9100

Requirements:

• Experience within a Quality Engineering role
• HND/HNC Level of Education
• Knowledge of Quality testing methods
• Experience of working in a quality department or test lab environment
• Experience in ISO 9001 and Quality Systems in general
• Conversant with CAD
