Part Time / Permanent
£22,311 to £33,559 p.a.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed lecturer to join our extremely successful, hardworking Sport and Public Services team at Lewes. Supported by the Head of Curriculum for this large and thriving area, the successful candidate will be leading the development of our Vocational (NCFE/BTEC) & A-Level courses promoting good practice in programme planning, delivery and development activities. A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the teaching of other subjects in the team's portfolio, with a particular emphasis on Vocational courses in Sport and A-Level Physical Education.
Applicants should have a good degree (or equivalent) in Sport or Physical Education, a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one), post-qualification experience, a student-centred approach to teaching and learning and a commitment to high achievement. The ability and willingness to offer coaching for our highly successful Football, Rugby or Netball Academy and BTEC Public Services teaching would also be an advantage for this post.
