Legal Sole Counsel - Solicitor

Due to continued success and expansion, my client wishes to hire a fully-qualified, part-time Sole Counsel with at least 5 years' PQE, who will handle a range of M&A transactions, commercial and legal compliance matters, as well as provide strategic, senior-level commercial advice to the board.

This position is a conduit between the external advisers, customers and clients, and their own business decision-makers.

The main duties of this role are:
Reviewing and advising upon internal staff?s NDAs, incentive agreements and contracts
Processing and devising customer and client contracts. These will need to be reviewed and re-structured enforcing the Company Terms and Conditions to be bespoke to the individual client?s terms when needed.
Reviewing supplier contracts
Ensuring the Company is protected from a legal compliance standpoint
Supporting and managing M&A on behalf of the Company and providing support to the Directors
Transacting and advising upon commercial property leases
Managing the Legal P&L budget with a focus on reducing external spend.

This role required you to be a qualified UK Solicitor with prior in-house experience.
You can still be considered if you have previously worked within a private practice, but solid commercial contracts grounding is a must.

This role is offered on either 2 or 3 days per week, this comes with your choice of hours and an attractive salary for the right candidate.
