Lecturer in 14-16 Alternative Provision

22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Chichester College have an opportunity for a Lecturer to join the successful 14-16 teaching team.
We have a rewarding opportunity which aims to deliver outstanding lessons to pre-16 (year 10 and 11) students with the need to re-engage them back into education and offer transitional pathway options. Some students have a range of individual support needs including emotional and behavioural challenges. Some learners are disengaged and /or disinterested in education and find a college environment more appropriate for their educational and support needs.
The area delivers a range of core subjects including English, Maths, PSE and ICT. This particular role will focus on Maths at Entry Level, Level 1 and GCSE. Other vocational and engagement skills will be an advantage.
You will be creative, experienced and passionate about working with challenging young people and have the ability to engage and encourage students to participate.
A September 2019 start is available for this post.
