Access to Higher Education Programme - Science Specialist

Description

We are looking for an experienced Science teacher with experience of Biology and Chemistry, and a interest in, teaching adults (19+) to deliver a variety of Science modules to Access students on the Science, Medicine and Nursing & Healthcare Professions pathways of the Access to HE course (A Level equivalent qualification). 

Modules include:

 •            Human Biology

•             Reproduction and Inheritance

•             Biotechnology

•             Environmental Science

The successful applicant will be co-ordinating our Science provision. Applicants should be suitably qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and have a broad knowledge of topics and areas within the natural Sciences; in addition, they will have an appropriate teaching qualification or willing to work towards one. Ability to teach Chemistry and Biology at Level 3 and experience of teaching on an Access programme would be an advantage.
