Teaching Assistant  (Level B)

Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant would be expected to provide in-class support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, dyslexia and ADHD, under the guidance of the SENCO. Applications will be welcomed from candidates who have experience of working with vulnerable young people of any age.

The Individual Learning Support area is a busy and productive part of the School and has a vibrant team of experienced leaders and support staff. The successful applicant would be expected to provide an appropriate level of support to the SENCO in an expansive, skilled and dynamic area of the curriculum

Salary: LGA Grade 3 (B&H Level B) £18,795 - £19,171. The post is term-time only, thirty hours a week, so the actual annual salary range is: £13,715.28 - £13,989.64.
