Job Profile for CNC Miller - 5 Axis Miller – AM(phone number removed)

5 Axis CNC Machinist required for a well-established subcontract engineering firm based in the Littlehampton area. Our client specialise in manufacture of high quality components supplying industries including Motorsport and bespoke tooling.

CNC Miller - 5 Axis Miller Position Overview

It is envisioned that the successful candidate will have experience in the setting and operating of 5 Axis milling machines, other responsibilities will include;

* Editing programs at the machine (Heidenhain and Mazatrol Controls)

* Setting and Operating 5 Axis Mills / Machining centres.

* First off inspection using hand tools

* Reporting to the Team Leader on shift.

* Reducing waste where possible to improve overall efficiency.

* Reading engineering drawings

* Work effectively as part of a team implementing company policies and procedures.

CNC Miller - 5 Axis Miller Position Requirements

* 3+ years’ experience setting and operating 5 Axis CNC machinery (Heidenhain or Mazak Beneficial though not mandatory)

* Previous experience inspecting own work to strict tolerances.

* Professional knowledge of online programming beneficial

* Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.

* Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in your working area.

* Based in a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead

* Full UK Driving License

CNC Miller - 5 Axis Miller Position Remuneration

* £13ph – £17ph Dependent upon skill

* 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays

* Monday to Friday, 40 hour week

* Overtime available (at time and half)

* Pension
