We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Pain Management, who has a passion to develop their clinical skills to an advanced level within a multidisciplinary team. This role will be working primarily in Brighton and Hove, with opportunities to undertake work across Central Sussex with teams in Mid-Sussex and Horsham. Our varied team consists of specialists from a range of professional backgrounds including psychology, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, occupational therapy, osteopathy and podiatry, engaging with patients through one to one treatments and self-management programmes. The pain pathway continues to be developed in the community with MDT and patient partner involvement.

As part of the wider pain team you will have opportunities for personal development as well as service development. You will be fully supported in your clinical practice through case reviews, supported learning and development. We offer a good training programme for staff and the service is well supported to deliver patient-centred care by our Self-Management Lead and Patient Director.

Sussex MSK Partnership (SMSKP) Central is a unique organisation that seeks to bring together the best of our local healthcare and specialist orthopaedic, pain and rheumatology knowledge to deliver quality care for all patients according to their specific needs. Central to this is the focus on identifying what truly matters to our patients using motivational interviewing and shared decision making, providing patients with the information they need to be able to make informed decisions about their journey.

In return we can offer you:

• Flexible working patterns
• Supportive learning environment; your clinical development will be supported by senior staff, Advanced Practitioners and Physiotherapy Consultants
• Dedicated career pathways and great opportunities to develop your clinical and management skills with access to in-service training and professional development
• Commitment to and support for your wellbeing
• NHS Pension Scheme
