Credit Controller
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Responsible for the management and general administration of the Accounts Receivable ledger, including cash collection and credit control to minimise the risk of bad debts, in accordance with group policies and KPIs, while maintaining high standards of customer focus and service.

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
- Responsible for proactively managing customer accounts in accordance with the Credit Policy, allocating payments accurately and other approved manual adjustments, managing queries and distribution of statements
- Responsible for proactive follow up of overdue payments - maintain the integrity of the ledger through best practice and operating credit sanctions for customers and where required providing the necessary level of activity and communication to avoid blocked orders
- Perform regular credit assessments and risk reviews for customers
- Monthly reporting/meetings with key stakeholders, escalate and liaise with international finance and supply chain teams to resolve customer disputes and queries
- Provide assistance with month and year end procedures and KPI reporting
- To input non trade invoices and credit memos requests
- To input daily customer receipts and perform associated document allocation
- To conduct daily SAP billing checks, maintaining escalation of identified errors

- Ensure team targets and KPI are achieved
- Provide outstanding customer service, guidance and support to internal and external customers
- Willingness to challenge and change current process and ways of working, work cross functionally with stakeholders to work more efficiently without compromising quality of output or deadlines
- As much as practical, adopt consistent ways of working across all markets
- Ensure business process are developed, documented and adhered to
- Perform other related duties as requested including project work
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
· Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent
· Previous experience of working in a team environment
· Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, intermediate excel essential
· Knowledge of SAP/BW or similar systems
· Excellent organisational skills combined with accuracy and attention to detail

LOCATION
Our Head Office “Home of The Body Shop” is located in the heart of Littlehampton, West Sussex. On site there is a state of the art distribution centre, conference centre, a 1950’s ‘Uncle Fred’s Diner’, a nursery and an onsite allotment area for staff.
