An opportunity has arisen for an experienced autonomous practitioner to join the team in Horsham Minor Injury Unit which serves Horsham community and its surrounding areas. At present, the service operates from Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700, excluding bank holidays. This role would be ideally suited for experienced emergency practitioners or emergency nurse practitioners who have experience of managing patients with a wide variety of injuries.

You will be expected to work to a high level of autonomous practice within agreed guidelines, as defined by local protocols. The successful candidate will be committed to service improvements with an acceptance of change, and desire to work in a positive environment that embraces the challenges urgent care faces as the service moves forward.

You will demonstrate a calm and confident approach to your work demonstrating excellent physical assessment, decision making and communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
