Our client, an established Vehicle Bodyshop in the Crawley area, is currently looking to hire an experienced Automotive Workshop Controller for their busy Accident Repair Centre.

This hands-on role is responsible for delivering agreed production volumes and quality. In-depth understanding of Vehicle Paint & Body repair along with strong organisational and people skills are essential.

Your job role will include Automotive Workshop Control and Production Manager responsibilities.
As a strong leader, you will lead your team to produce a result in terms of customer service, efficiency and profit and be able to communicate the companies strategy and vision to your team.
Key Responsibilities
·Manage activities of the production/workshop operations to ensure efficient work scheduling
·Implement/manage work processes to ensure quality/service levels meet or exceed expectations
·Allocate work according to skill levels to optimise workshop efficiency and labour sales.
Monitor individual productive performance to minimise non-productive time.
·Establish, maintain and promote good working relations with key personnel
Hold daily production meetings to ensure work completion targets with team leaders, parts and reception staff.
·Identify training and development needs and (subject to approval) implement required training and/or coaching
·Ensure that productive staff observe the companies obligations under statutory regulations
Manage control reports and computer systems
·To stay up to date with all current and new technical issues/changes

Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 Basic + Bonus £250 to £300 per month + Overtime paid above hourly rate +
9% benefits or Pension. OTE £40k +

40 hours per week
