Receptionist Administrator
Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading company based in East Grinstead who are currently in search of a Receptionist / Administrator.
The role will predominantly provide reception support, switchboard operation and offer effective and professional service for all visitors.
Duties:
- Connect all inbound reception calls to relevant extensions, referring those uncertain of their required contact to the appropriate department/extension. If possible, answer queries without referral
- Receive, welcome and refer visitors to the relevant department/individual
- Ensure all visitors are appropriately recorded for security purposes and passes are logged in/out effectively – to ensure the safety of all staff and guests
- Provide a supportive customer experience when handling complaints
- Calls transferred to the correct individual or guaranteed call back arranged with a realistic time frame by utilising the intranet and/or local knowledge
- Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are kept tidy at all times
- Facilities advised immediately where any remedial work is required i.e. lights replacing, stains cleaned etc
- Undertake any other reasonable task, as allocated by the management team
- Promptly and correctly completing administration duties for other departments
Skills required:
- Strong attention to detail and able to work with speed and accuracy
- Proactive – able to demonstrate effective use of time without close supervision
- A working knowledge of PC skills: Outlook, email and diary management, word and excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to engage in a friendly and effective manner with visitors, colleagues in the business and external suppliers by telephone and face to face
- Good organisation skills
This is an ongoing temporary role until December 2019
£9 - £10.50 per hour DOE
