Electronics & Systems Engineer
A global manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Electronics & Systems Engineer
to join their team due to continued growth & expansion, responsible for functional testing of hardware & software creating methodical test reports and to be the first line of support for issues in production.
Experience/Skills/Knowledge required to be successful:
* Experience in Coding and Electronics
* MUST HAVE knowledge / understanding of the principles of Embedded Software
* Preferably able to program in C/C+ with experience of real time embedded systems
* Able to read and interpret electronics schematics & troubleshoot both hardware and software
* Able to design PCBA for manufacture
In the role of Electronics & Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Design & development of both new products and existing product modifications
* Creating detailed project documentation including functional & non-functional requirements
* Functional testing of hardware & software, creating methodical test reports
* Be the first line of support for issues in production
* Support project administration for both current & new product development projects ensuring projects are completed both on time & to budget
* Support hardware & firmware FMEA
* Developing validation test for electronics, firmware and software
* Ensure all designs are suitable for manufacture and are produced cost effectively
* Undertake product testing required by design & development and document results
* Support the Quality Assurance team with fault finding on product returns / quality issues
* Assist with providing compliance testing & documentation for the products
