Deputy Manager - Care Home – Haywards Heath - £25K

Our client is a health care provider who have a fantastic reputation in and specialise in care for adults with dementia. Their 40 bed service provides support to elderly adults, some with dementia who require a high standard of care and are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager who delivers a high standard of care along with compassion and empathy within the care setting.

As a Deputy Manager, the main role is supporting the Home Manager in the day to day operation of the service, you will deputise as in the manager's absence and be responsible for the supervision and line-management of staff. You will be responsible and accountable for monitoring and providing the highest standards of care and personal support, whilst promoting independence in the home.

As the Deputy Manager, you will be required to:

* Assist the registered manager in all aspects of the home management

* Deputise in the absence of the home manager

* Hold overall responsibility for maintaining and monitoring the clinical care being given

* Provide effective leadership to a team of clinical and non-clinical staff

* Be responsible for day to day delivery of care

* Identify and order medical equipment where required

* Oversee the induction and training of new staff

* Maintain excellent working relationships with other healthcare professionals, including visiting GPs
