Our client is looking to hire warm hearted, friendly and compassionate care workers to help support individuals with Dementia. £8.50-£9.10 per hour (depending on experience).
This is a friendly and lively dementia care centre located near the seafront in Seaford, East Sussex on the South Coast, halfway between Brighton & Eastbourne.
They have been delivering quality care for nearly 50yrs and because they provide plenty of activities for residents, it means they can reduce the use of unnecessary medication and ensure a better quality of care is delivered.
Where you’ll be working is very much for the residents, who will be playing pool, singing along to music and getting ready to go out for the day. Supporting people with dementia can be challenging but for the right person, it’s a very rewarding and worthwhile job that gives you a sense of purpose and achievement. A typical work pattern is - 42 hour shifts on a two week rotation, including alternate weekends and you will have 28 holidays a year (inc. Bank Holidays)
