Based at our Central Campus, Brighton

37 hours per week

We are seeking to recruit a Premises Officer to work within the Estates department, to ensure a customer friendly and efficient service of the day to day operational requirements of the campus are met.

Duties will include carrying out day to day premises support including emergency works.   Ensure that the college is safe, clean and well maintained including routine fire alarm test, updating fire alarm reports and regular checks of firefighting equipment.

You will need previous experience of caretaking or premises security, manual handling and ladder training.   You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of relevant technical knowledge and operation and interrogation of fire and security systems.

You will need GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C or equivalent and experience of working with and supporting young people in an educational environment.
