Senior Procurement Category Manager- Marketing

Please get in touch if this sounds like you! The successful applicant will work across marketing, digital, aggregators and professional services categories to deliver exciting procurement projects. They will help manage contract risk and adherence helping to drive innovation throughout the supplier life cycle. The role holder will work with business leaders to deliver ambitious category plans, taking a proactive approach helping to drive business engagement to reduce cost and improve value. As a people leader with a broader set of categories to manage the role holder is expected to demonstrate the Hastings Transformational Leadership capabilities and develop a team which delivers against stretching objectives.
Skills Knowledge & Experience · Significant relevant experience in a similar role · CIPS qualified, or working towards CIPS qualification (preferred) · Skilled negotiator with commercial acumen, being able to understand complex commercial issues driving negotiations to conclusion in a timely manner with attention to detail · Communication, presentation and influencing skills · Highly organised, and able to manage multiple projects to conclusion in a timely and effective manner · Effective stakeholder management Hastings Group is an equal opportunities employer which means we treat people fairly.
