Trainee or Experienced Buildings Maintenance Technician

To support Head of Maintenance for an established professional environment – will consider some training for the right candidate with a steady working background or previous experience. This is an ideal opportunity for the right person waiting to train into this area of work

• Main areas of cover will be building and site repairs

• Health & Safety compliance

• Security

• Plumbing

• COSHH

• General maintenance

You will be assisting with preventative maintenance and will need to be happy to negotiate with subcontractors, coordinate repairs and perform compliance tests under supervision.

Maintenance will include compliance checks of smoke alarms – extinguishers and monthly carbon-monoxide checks.

• General carpentry painting and decorating minor electrical/ plumbing work

• Maintenance of internal and external lighting

Working hours will be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with lunch break 20 days Holiday plus statutory days.
