Print Production Operative

A printing company are currently looking for someone with a technical background to support them in their Production Department.

The role will involve working with various machines that create and make labels.

This company are extremely happy to train the right candidate on each individual machine but must have some technical experience and knowledge.

The right candidate will need to have transferable skills, to understand the multiskilled machinery.

Salary: £18,000 per annum - This will increase after probation.
Parking: Free on-site and off-site

After a period of internal training you will be expected to provide the following services to the company:

• Set and operate various types of printing and print finishing machinery
• Organise the material flow around the production equipment
• Carry out basic repair and maintenance work of production machinery
• Maintain a good standard of organisation and cleanliness of/around machines, the factory, and the workplace
• Retrieve print materials from stock and store after use in the correct location
• Follow job sheet instructions with attention to detail
• Take an active interest in production requirements and improve technical knowledge on an ongoing basis
• Become an engaged member of our team of employees and actively contribute to a constructive and pleasant team atmosphere
• Always act with integrity and honesty
