In a nutshell

As a Brand Partnerships Manager for Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays, you will define the sources of growth and priorities for your combined team and set the strategy globally. Working in partnership with our overseas Marketing leaders, you’ll priority assess and evaluate opportunities that arise locally ensuring there is a coherent strategy adopted globally which complements all markets. 

In this high profile role, You will be responsible for leading the interface into the marketing teams of third parties and the sales/product teams across Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays. You will also work closely with wider marketing team colleagues and agencies to devise and deliver marketing plans which complements the core marketing agenda, to achieve brand and commercial objectives.


Day to day

As an inspirational leader you will coach & lead your team to achieve brand & financial targets. You’ll build outstanding cross-functional relationships across Product, Commercial and Sales teams through effective collaboration and stakeholder management. 

As part of brand partnership planning and strategy for both Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays, you will devise a partnership framework appropriate for both brands respective business strategy, target audience and products, achieving maximum brand synergy whilst minimizing resource and effort overlap.

You’ll lead the complete redesign of partnership marketing for both Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays, evaluating historic partner marketing activities across both brands, making recommendation on continuation, improvement or termination of activities. 

Proactively building and maintaining highly collaborative working relationships with key partners and internal stakeholders across the business. You’ll be a strong internal advocate for partners, whilst carefully balancing needs between partners and our brands by educating them on our brand strategy. 

Seeking out new brand partners, supporting brand health and contributing towards sales targets, you’ll stay closely connected with –business performance on an ongoing basis, building up a pipeline of test partners and continuously seek out new opportunities and arenas for igniting brand love and improving sales. 

With partner Budget and Financial Control, you will closely monitor partner income and P&L contribution. You’ll devise streamline and efficient process for invoicing partners and receiving income from them.

Collaborating closely with wider marketing colleagues to deliver marketing activities, and ensure partnership spend is controlled and managed holistically across all disciplines


About you

Are you a resourceful self-starter with high degree of commercial acumen who enjoys continuously re-prioritising budgets/resources to deliver best “bang for your buck”? Do you have a demonstrable understanding of a diverse range of marketing disciplines from advertising, social, content, digital, CRM, retail marketing to sponsorship and activations? 

We are looking for someone who has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Additionally you will have robust MS office skills ---MS Word, Excel, Power Point. You will have a proven track record in re-designing and embedding processes to support business transformation and be adept in working in a matrix organisation and delivering output via others.
