Technical Estimator – East Sussex

Jobsworth Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Technical Estimator to join their progressive Precision Engineering company. This is a client that can offer the right person a friendly team spirited working environment and structured career progression.

The role is based at our client’s site in East Sussex. Your working week will be;

Monday to Friday – 8.00am to 4.30pm

All overtime paid at enhanced rate

Our client offers excellent benefits, including a salary of £8.65 to £10.57 per hour DOE.

You will also qualify for excellent fringe benefits and 22 days holiday increasing by 1 day per year to a total of 25 days.

Role Requirements for the Technical Estimator;

• To accept and process customer requirements for quotation
• To fully communicate with customers on both technical and non – technical issues
• To communicate with all production personal and managers
• To read and understand technical drawings
• To source and procure specific materials
• To continually negotiate and look at best pricing structure
• To build new and maintain existing supplier relationships
• Process all quotes through the MRP system
