We have five specialist divisions covering the complete range of building materials, plumbing supplies, kitchens, joinery and architectural ironmongery – over 10,000 products all at competitive prices. Our 15 heavy side branches are supplemented by specialist divisions, Parker Building Supplies, Parker Kitchens, Parker Plumbing Supplies, Parker Joinery & Parker Ironmongery.

About the Role

We require an experienced Telesales Person for our busy Eastbourne branch. Our Telesales Colleagues establish excellent relationships with new and existing customers, using their telephone sales techniques to generate business and encourage new leads. They also provide support to the Sales Representatives where appropriate.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Effectively communicate the services offered by PTK and our associated brands.
  • Hit required daily call number target.
  • Target PBS account base and build long lasting relationships with customers.
  • Proactively target new accounts, manage active traders and generate agreed number of fully qualified leads for sales designers/rep.
  • Provide best in class service.
  • Manage and call customer data base to find out about upcoming projects, if no kitchens needed promote Parker products.
  • Be up to date with local planning applications.
  • Use online public databases (Check a trade) to target new accounts.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of products we offer.

 Salary

Up to £20,000-£22,000 + package – Dependant on Experience 

Full time – Up to 45 hours per week

The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 5.30pm and Saturdays from 8am to 12.30pm. You would be required to work 45 hours per week between these opening hours.
