This is a fantastic opportunity for a School Nurse with experience of working with children with disabilities to join our friendly and enthusiastic Children's Specialist Nursing team in Brighton and Hove.

We have 23 hours Band 5 (0.61 WTE) to be worked in term time available in special schools. Further hours are also likely to be available.

You will be working closely with two Band 6 Nurses who work in special schools, and receive excellent support and supervision.

We are ideally looking for cover on a Thursday and Friday, with flexibility for the third day to overlap with the Band 6 Nurse who also works in the schools.

We are looking for someone who already has experience of working with children with complex needs and who is interested in developing their community skills.

You will be responsible for the provision, planning, and implementation of nursing care for children and young people attending special school sites. You will also be responsible for training and educating school staff, and liaising with families and other professionals. You will receive excellent support and supervision.
