Mind in Brighton and Hove empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton & Hove, and across Sussex.
We are seeking to recruit additional Employment Advisors to join our expanding team and provide advice and information, skills-based interventions, and employment support to people experiencing mental health issues who wish to remain in, return to and/or find work. The role will be varied and involve managing a busy caseload and include liaison work with employers and other external partners, so experience and a commitment to partnership working is required.
You will require an understanding of employment issues and the barriers people may face in the workplace. Skills in providing advice and information and a track record of successfully engaging and working with people experiencing mental health issues is essential.
The Employment Advisor Team is part of the Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service, a primary care mental health (IAPT) service delivered by a partnership of four organisations: Mind in Brighton and Hove, HERE, Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust and YMCA Downslink Group.
Closing date: 10.00am on Monday, 23rd September 2019
Interview date: Thursday, 3rd October 2019 (with some flexibility; please contact us to discuss)
