A highly specialised, supportive school near Crawley is looking for a patient, kind and resilient learning support assistant to join their team in September. You would be working 1:1 and in small groups with autistic children, helping them to achieve the targets on their individual learning plans. They are looking for someone to use their interactive curriculum to motivate the students to be engaged with their learning and social development.

Your responsibilities include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
-Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development
-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

The ideal candidate may posses the following skills and capabilities:
-Be able to build positive and appropriate relationships with students and teachers
-Have a passion for working with SEN children
-Own means of transport is essential
-Able to support the general well-being of students
-Good numeracy and literacy skills
