Job Title:  Digital Film and Media Technician/Instructor

We currently have a vacancy for a qualified or experienced Digital Film and Media Technician/Instructor, with a particular interest in film and media. You will be a practical, adaptable individual, ready to work with tutors and support students in a busy Film and Media Studies and Media Production department.

Experience in working in a digital film/video arts environment is essential, as is the ability to maintain editing and camera equipment.  Suitable applicants will have a good understanding and experience of digital filmmaking (DSLR) and editing (Premiere), lighting and photoshop for print applications.

Experience of instructing and supporting young people in the 16-18-year education/vocational sector is also desirable.

It is initially a fixed term post commencing asap until 21 July 2020.  The salary is paid on SFCA Band 3 scale – salary range £18,780- £20,765 per annum (depending upon experience).

The hours of work will be one day a week, term time only working on a Friday.
