The Academy is close to the attractive seaside towns of Eastbourne and Hastings, within easy reach of Brighton and numerous pretty rural villages.

The lead Ofsted Inspector stated;

In addition to this tremendously good news I can also report that the school has been allocated £6million to make the changes to our building design. The funding will enable us to return to traditional individual classrooms moving away from the open plan PODs that are a current feature of the school. We will also be able to create 7 new Science Labs, new Food Technology, Computer Science rooms and a much needed Library.

My aim is for Bexhill High Academy to be judged to be a ‘good’ school by the end of 2016 and ‘Outstanding’ by 2019. The single most important factor in ensuring that as a school we achieve our goal is to recruit and retain outstanding staff.
