My client is a popular and well known Hotel and Spa situated 20-minutes from Brighton in East Sussex offering a work-life balance

We are looking for a sous chef, to head up the main Kitchen, under the exec chef, who also oversees the whole site, so this will give you the opportunity to step up by training and developing your own team. covering the a la carte restaurant in the Hotel with the view of going for AA-rosettes, On-site is also a second kitchen that is run by the senior sous chef which covers the conference and banqueting side of the business.

On offer is a work-life balance, The main restaurant is not open for Lunch, which means you will be working straight shifts will a start time of 12.00 and finishing just after 9pm. Salary on offer is £28-30k, plus the use of the on-site gym, if you like playing golf, then you will love the free Golf membership

This Hotel is about to have a cash investment, in all departments, with a re-launch coming soon. So are you a sous chef that wants to use fresh seasonal produce, which should reflect on your menus whilst keeping up with modern food trends, then this is for you.

As Sous Chef, you will need to have a passion for food, and want to be involved in the running of all areas of the kitchen. Previous 1/2 AA-Rosette experience is preferred with a stable cv. Hotel background would be great but will look at somebody from quality restaurants.
