We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident, energetic and eager Business Administration Apprentice with charisma and determination to join our team at Pavilion Systems; part of an award-winning leading conservatory roof system manufacturer. This opportunity is for you if you are keen to be part of a business that is passionate about providing customers with first class levels of service, both before and after sales, setting us apart from other conservatory system fabricators.


We work across a broad customer base which includes large construction organisations, private housebuilders and home improvement companies. Our business is part a larger group of Prefix Systems companies with locations across the UK.

As part of the apprenticeship programme you will receive on the job training from our dedicated and long-standing team.You will also undertake a variety of placements across the business to further develop your knowledge and skills, enabling you to become a valuable member of the team.Your formal training delivered by the external training provider will be directly relevant to your day to day activities in the workplace.

This apprenticeship is a unique opportunity to gain full end to end knowledge of the manufacture and production of conservatory roof and glazing solutions to our customers, by predominantly training within the office environment, as well as work-shadowing and assisting the manufacturing team.At Pavilion we are passionate about our people and have a real team ethos.To be successful in this role you must be a natural communicator and have a positive can-do attitude towards solving problems, a passion for quality and good attention to detail.You must be able to work well with people and demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.

The role…

The role is predominantly working within a small office environment alongside our Office Assistant, Accounts Administrator, and reporting to the General Manager.This is an opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the business and develop the confidence to liaise with customers to attain commercial acumen.This is also a unique opportunity to spend time work-shadowing/assisting the manufacturing team to meet customer demand from time to time with a view to developing a deeper understanding of the inter-departmental functions.

·Quotations

·Booking on orders

·Sales order processing

·Roof batching

·Stock ordering and stock control

·Parts ordering

·Computer-aided design (CAD)

·Create delivery notes

·Data entry (Sage)

·Non-conformance reporting

·Goods In

·Batching

·Packing lists and labelling

About you...

·Energetic and eager to learn;

·IT literate with MS Office products;

·A strong work ethic;

·Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines;

·A positive can-do attitude; and

·Although on the job training will be provided, confident communication skills with a good telephone manner are highly desirable.

Qualifications…

·5 GCSE's at grades 4/C or above including Maths and English (desirable); and

·Any further education qualifications (desirable).

As part of your package you will receive an above apprenticeship standard rate of pay, enhanced holiday entitlement, birthday leave, access to the company pension scheme and also the Employee Assistance Programme. Normal Company working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am until 5pm and Friday 8am until 4pm.
