A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join the Aviva Group Corporate Support (GCS) team in Worthing as an Innovation and Insight Manager. Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will work closely with Team Leads for different business units, as well the Business Change team and Operations Managers.

The driving force between this exciting new position is to identify, design and deliver opportunities to ensure efficiencies into the target operating model for all lines of business across Global, Corporate Specialty business. You will provide insight to the business performance by building a suite of measures that reflects both the commercial objectives of the unit, the customer experience and delivering material improvements.

You will work with the Team Managers to match capabilities within Worthing against future demands and build effective plans to meet these. The ultimate aim is to provide the best possible customer experience through analysis, insight and the relentless pursuit of making improvements across all aspects of the end to end customer journey.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure standards are met and the governance framework adhered to in order to maintain optimum service levels
  • Responsible for leading initiatives for service and operational improvements by acting on feedback from customers, Sharing ideas with manager, peers and team members
  • Provide regular updates on progress through effective communication
  • Scenario modelling/Cost and Benefit Analysis to aid decision-making
  • Responsible for resource capacity planning to ensure appropriate skills and capacity are available to deliver on all performance measurements
  • Seek opportunities to drive efficiencies and lower cost
  • Ensure consistent results in test analysis, test lead and test management, quality deliveries and application of technical expertise across multiple platforms and applications
  • Standardise operating procedures and drive consistency

Skills and Experience required

  • Ability to manage workload & relationships in a flexible, dynamic and dedicated manner
  • Able to prioritise and plan effectively
  • Experience of interpreting data and establish solutions to complex problems
  • Build and maintain positive departmental relationships
  • Ability to gain insight from data to improve the performance of our people
  • Taking responsibility for one’s own personal development
  • Experience of operating at senior management level and of influencing senior management and other partners.
  • Experience of change management and project management
