Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust's Estates department provides a wide range of maintenance, operational and project management services throughout the Trust's community settings across Sussex. The Estates department provides services to its own Trust and to neighbouring Trusts and other local organisations via service level agreements (SLAs).

We are looking for a proactive team player who is willing to work flexibly and be part of a dynamic workforce, meeting the challenges of a forward-thinking organisation that has been rated "Good" and "Outstanding" by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

As an Estates Manager (Electrical), the post holder will work alongside the other Estates Manager (Mechanical) and be responsible for and provide guidance to the team whilst ensuring the reliability of electrical and engineering infrastructure, systems and equipment. The post holder will be accountable to the Head of Operational Estates and will manage and lead a team of highly technical staff including Estates and Planning Officers to provide an efficient, reliable (PPM) and reactive maintenance (RM) service.

The post holder will also be expected to have some mechanical experience and provide cover when necessary. They must have a proven track record in and experience of LV electrical systems and be able to provide guidance to the team.

They must be able take up AP (LV) duties and be able to apply a flexible attitude in their approach to delivering a first class service. They will also be required to participate in the "Estates Management On Call" service, for which an extra remuneration will be paid.
