Are you an experienced Administrator with either a background in Logistics or a good technical knowledge?

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to work for a successful company based in Hassocks.

Hours: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours)

12 Months FTC

Key Responsibilities;

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments to achieve the most effective solution to freight invoice queries
  • Assist with identifying and recharging all relevant costs as appropriate
  • Assist with processing data from import and export declarations accurately.
  • Support the technical team by identifying import and export declaration discrepancies.
  • Assist with the shipment of export control goods.
  • Understand and assist with providing advice on export control requirements and worldwide compliance
  • Liaise with internal departments as the nature of the specific task may require
  • Assist the Technical Logistics Team with all tasks as required

The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experience;

  • Minimum of 1 year's administration experience
  • Preferable work experience within the Logistics industry
  • Knowledge of Export and Import procedures and controls preferable
  • Some experience of Quantum is an advantage
  • Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and reporting skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and administration skills
  • Flexibility in working hours to assist with Hand Carries of Aircraft parts to worldwide destinations and on-call out of hours cover.
