Are you an enthusiastic fundraiser who is brilliantly organised, an excellent communicator and ready for a new challenge? Then read on!
This role involves fundraising for Chestnut Tree House with responsibility for the Brighton & Hove area by actively promoting all aspects of the hospice’s work to local businesses, professional bodies, community organisations, schools, Friends groups, volunteer groups and other support groups, including giving presentations and attending events. You will be required to provide fundraising guidance and support for community activities and events, including guidance regarding insurance liability, risk assessments and general Health & Safety issues relating to public events, whilst keeping up to date with all legal implications. Before and after community events you will be involved with general correspondence with supporters; in addition you will need to prepare community fundraising plans which link into the overall budget and targets, and to report on progress of these plans throughout the year.
