A Principal Computer Vision Engineer with extensive commercial experience of delivering novel solutions to vision-based processing problems will join a leading name in the Automotive Electronics development industry, with a focus on improving driving safety. You’ll hold a relevant MSc and/or PhD, will have advanced Matlab and C/C++ programming skills as well as having a good understanding of techniques such as structure from motion, 3D geometry and visual odometry.
Key Skills Summary:
* Extensive commercial Computer Vision algorithm development.
* Advanced Matlab and C/C++ ( C++ 11/14 ideal).
* Good understanding of nonlinear and numerical optimisation methods.
* Understanding of geometric camera models and calibration for systems with fisheye and wide angle lenses.
* Technical leadership experience.
* Exposure to Multiview geometry, structure from motion, SLAM, visual odometry.
* Appreciation of Machine Learning techniques.
* Experience with automotive industry standards such as MISRA or ASPICE great to have.
The successful Computer Vision Engineer will primarily get involved with the R&D of computer vision algorithms using Matlab and C/C++ (C++ 11/14 preferred); prototyping and implementation in simulation tools and then porting to embedded environments as well as contributing to the improvement of algorithms through automated and live testing in vehicles.
As a Principal level Engineer you will have good leadership skills, fluency in English as well as the ability to work well as part of a multinational team.
