The company I am working with are looking for an experienced security Engineer (particularly CCTV) to join the team that focus solely on HM Prisons (HMP) around Greater London & the South East.
Don't be put off by that sentence, nothing has ever happened to anyone attending these sites. There's safety procedures in place.
You will be working as part of a two man team, attending site to carry out service, maintenance and small works on a variety of CCTV systems (Analogue, Digital & IP) throughout Greater London and the South East. There are also some nurse call systems on some sites that fall within the contract.
Sounds pretty straightforward right?
Well here's the kicker, the other engineer will be a fire alarm engineer and you will be training him up on CCTV systems, and in turn he will be training you up on fire systems as well. Not only that, the company will put you through all of the required FIA modules so you will become a fully certified fire alarm engineer as well.
And due to the contract being in it's infancy, in time and as the contract grows there are going to be opportunities for a progressive career within the company, and not just on the HMP contract.
Btw, the company is a very established Fire, Security, Mechanical & Electrical company so you will be in very good and safe hands.
What you will receive for joining
* Upto £35,000 dependent on experience & qualifications held
* Travel paid door to door
* Call out rota as the contract grows but with minimal call outs
* Choice of car or van with fuel card.
* 25 days holiday - plus bank holidays.
* Trained on fire alarm systems
* Put through FIA modules
