Blackstone Recruitment are currently recruiting CBT Therapists on behalf of an NHS client in Herefordshire who require experienced clinicians who have BABCP (or relevant) accreditation.

The role will be to offer short to medium length interventions (6 – 14 weeks) on a one to one and/or group basis for people with the more severe end of common mental health problems. Likely presentations will be depression (espc recurrent or severe), anxiety and associated chronic phobias, OCD, personality disorder (mostly emotionally unstable). There will be no expectation of working with active psychosis or major mood disorder. Patients may occasionally present with risk taking behaviours. We are unlikely to accept people who are assessed as medium to high clinical risk. We expect candidates to have some understanding of EPR (ideally RiO) and be IT literate. Training will be provided as needed.

We will be looking at candidates able to travel to sites across the county. Appointments will be held within Trust or wider health care properties, offering a degree of standardisation of room and safety
