Are you looking for work in the glorious county of West Sussex? Do you want to join an NHS Foundation Trust with excellent supervision, training and staff support?

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust's Healthy Child Programme (HCP) is seeking to recruit enthusiastic, innovative and motivated Health Visitors to work within West Sussex (Crawley and Horsham). Full and part time hours are available.

As a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN HV) you will be expected to work as part of a corporate team, have the ability to demonstrate evidence-based practice, and have a flexible approach to work and service delivery. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to team working and clinical leadership.

The HCP 0-19 teams demonstrate a proactive approach to the Healthy Child Programme, with Health Visitors and School Nurses within the same teams. They work alongside partner agencies, such as the West Sussex County Council Integrated Prevention and Early Help (IPEH) service, to deliver a universal service to all families, signposting where necessary and taking a key role in child protection issues where identified.

SCFT offers excellent support to staff, including training opportunities and ongoing career development. The Trust welcomes innovation, for example, by providing a digital offer (Family Assist) to parents and families, and running a number of Quality Improvement projects.

We welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and newly qualified staff.

This post may close earlier than the published closing date if sufficient applications are received.
